Wow! What an incredible thing to say that I am now fully funded! The Lord is so so good and I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and donations! I could not be where I am today without your help! Every prayer and every donation brought me closer to this day of being fully funded.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried that this last stretch of funds would come in. I wanted to trust God and believe that I would be fully funded before the deadline, but I honestly had no idea how or when it would happen. God is so good and so faithful. His plans are greater than my plans.
As this month was coming to an end, I felt the Lord just telling me to pray for people’s hearts to be opened to fund me. He never gave me a specific person, but just wanted me to pray those simple words. Well, not too long after that someone donated!! Then I felt the Lord wanting me to fast my technology. Turn off the wifi and live in His presence. I planned to do this when I arrived in Ethiopia. However, when our whole squad got together for our mini debrief before our flight, our Airbnb had no wifi. During this time, we were all able to catch up, worship, and join in community. The first night, I felt the same calling to pray for hearts to be opened.
Well, I had no wifi to check my donations and so it was not till three days later that I discovered I am now overly FULLY FUNDED!! Like WHAT!? This could only be the Lord! He provided even more than just the exact!
I just want to jump up and down shouting to the world how good our God is! He is our provider! He is our keeper! Wow! I am just so shook and amazed at what He is doing!
Thank you again to everyone who has helped me make it this far! Thank you for this encouragement. I could not be here without the Lord and without people willing to give and pray with me through this.
Please continue praying as I continue to journey forward in these next months. Pray for the people we will be encountering, for our teams, and for travel. Also, be in prayer as others on our squad are still fundraising. Pray that they will be fully funded soon!
