WOW! what a time to be alive , am I right or am I right?? haha!
When I first started this blogging journey, I did my absolute best to keep it fun, short, and a good time for you people. and today June 30th, 2020 at approximately 10:51 am, Im going to finish off this wild journey with this final blog right here. So buckle up, and enjoy the grammatical errors because Mary is in Georgia and Leigh is at the beach. so it’s just me and you here… yeehaw
For those of you who have stuck with me since the beginning, let me just start off by saying a huge thank you. Thank you for keeping up with my endeavors, thank you for your prayers, financial support, and just thank you for tagging along and being a constant encouragement.
For those of you who are just now reading this blog and may have no clue who I am. Hi, my name is Kj, I wear crocs, and I did the world race. it is nice to meet you. read some past blogs to know more haha.
now that I have covered all my bases, lets do this.
Let me just say that when I had first started my world race journey with adventures in missions, I did not have a clue what I was doing. Graduating high school, and not going to college but instead moving to a foreign country with of bunch of basically strangers sounded absolute crazy. But I did the thing and those strangers are now my family. The race taught me things I never even thought were possible, and showed me things that even in my wildest dreams I probably couldn’t even come up with. Going into the race, I had no idea what life would look like coming home and I think I can speak for all us when I say none of us saw this coming.
Coming home 2 months early.
A pandemic.
A nation split in half.
Aliens??
and if that wasn’t enough, killer wasps.
But despite it all, God has been faithful, He is still funny, and has always been good.
As far as these next few months go, I will be continuing my journey with adventures in missions by being apart of their discipleship program called CGA which is located in Gainesville, Georgia. I am beyond excited for this chapter and for the Lord to continue to grow me and disciple me in this season as well as teaching me how to disciple others on a deeper level. Along with being in this program, I will also be enrolled at LSUS as an online student pursuing a secondary education degree. Discipleship and teaching are two things I have always been passionate about and The Lord in his kindness has opened doors for me to do both. Which is a crazy story by the way, text me and we can talk about it later lol.
With all of that being said, this has been a whole lot of fun and I am sorry that my goodbye blog is about 3 months late. but for real. give me some grace here.the world is basically on fire… for JESUS, haha not really but it should be. go ahead and partner with The Lord in trying to bring heaven down. You have always been a world changer 🙂
fun, short, and a good time, as promised.
See ya later,
KJ
