Team capable. Because we are capable to do all things. Boom. My team consists of 6 super cool women of God. They are all so different, yet we mesh so well. I love them dearly and it’s about time I introduce you to them.
Chelsey Weirs
She’s from Michigan and she’s hilarious. She’s typically quiet and to herself or at least that’s what I though until I really got to know her. You see, she acts reserved and presents herself as introvert but all it took was a 1 am run in with a bug and Leanna and Mary screaming for her to really show her true spunky self. And I absolutely love it. She’s not afraid to say what she feels, and she definitely won’t let anyone push her around. She’s a great time.
Rachel Rose
The wisest of the wise. She’s from Texas and wakes up early in the morning and out of all us she really has her life together. She’s encouraging and always lifting me up. She speaks words of life over our team. And when she speaks, she speaks with authority and power. She is always making sure we are on task. And not touching the dogs. She is intentional about ministry and intentional about our squad. And Im a big fan of her.
Jamie Jenkins
A woman filled with Joy. A woman filled with life. A child of the most high king. Jamie is a leader by all means. She takes control of situations and when she speaks, it’s key to listen because she doesn’t speak to just fill space. She speaks encouragement and life. She is beyond funny and a great dancer. She’s also absolutely gorgeous. At ministry, she leads the kids and shines a light that cannot be dimmed. The kids love her, my team loves her, and I absolutely adore her.
Leanna Murphy
Joy. Peace. Happiness. Those are the words and many more that would describe Leanna Murphy. She’s from Minnesota and her accent is the coolest thing. We share clothes, we share drinks, we share conversations, we share our thoughts about life and about what God is doing. She is encouraging and honestly a friend that I never knew I needed but now I cant imagine life without her. She supports all my crazy ideas and God has such a hand on her life it’s crazy. She’s obedient and she says yes. She inspires me to be better and I look up to her so much. We are also partner teachers so that’s a fun time for sure haha.
Mary Eastland
She has brown hair. She’s from Georgia. She loves people. She provides all the movies. She speaks life. She is worthy. She is a friend but more importantly she is family. The first time Mary and I found out we were on the same team, she looked at me and all she said was “oh kj”. It’s been about a month now, and I can’t honestly say we are thriving. And instead of oh kJ… it’s definitely oh Mary. She’s literally kills me. We make constant jokes, she calls me higher daily, and she doesn’t let me walk through anything alone. My wins are her wins. My battles are her battles. She’s my hype man and one of my biggest supporters. I love her to pieces and just a disclaimer- she’s the one who edits all my blogs, however I have no idea where she is today so my apologies for the grammatical errors that you have encountered.
And that is my team. Oh and yeah. Connaly. Our fearless leader. However, she hates words of affirmation so just think of the best thing on earth and the coolest thing that you’ve ever encountered. Then times it by 10. And that would describe Connaly Akiyama.
