Hey sweet friends! The last month has been CRAZY! If you are reading this, you’ve probably already heard that I am going on the World Race, so I thought I’d share a little bit of my story, how God is moving through me, and how I got to where I am going.

To begin, I grew up in a Christian home, went to Sunday school and church often, and developed a pretty- good understanding of who God was and is early on. However, it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I developed a relationship with Him. In high school I faced many trials and temptations (like many teenage girls).  I really struggled with seeking the approval of others, which led me down a dark path. I had placed my desires on worldly things, and I pushed the Creator of the world—the Creator of me and you—aside.  Doing so made me lose sight of who I really was, and who I wanted to be. I deemed myself unworthy of our God’s love and forgiveness, making me feel like I was not good enough. My confidence was shaken, and I was desperate to know my purpose in this great big world we live in. But the Lord never left me, He pursued me, and met me where I was.  He set my feet on solid ground, and laid a path before me, leading directly to Him. I now realize that I am the daughter of the King of the Universe. I am made new through Him, and He loves me more than I could ever fathom. I do not need the approval of others, but only the love of my God. In the last year of walking in faith with God, I have found a passion and a calling to bring the love of Jesus to our broken world. Through lots of thought and prayer, the Lord led me to the World Race, where I will get to share the good news of His love and salvation to the people of Costa Rica, Cambodia, and Swaziland!

“I will make you as a light to the nations, so that my salvation may reach the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6).

In order to make this dream happen, I need your help. I first ask that you pray for my team and I. Even though we will not leave until September of 2019, I will need prayer that God will provide, and prepare our hearts and the hearts of the people we meet, and lead us so that we may further His kingdom for His glory. I also have to raise $16,600, this will cover all transportation, food, housing, insurance, and other miscellaneous costs. I hope that you would consider donating to my trip. Any amount that you feel led to donate helps, and all donations are tax deductible! If you are interested in financially supporting me you can click on the “Donate” button at the top of this page, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me!

Thank you for reading!

Love you guys and BE A LIGHT!!!
