6:05 AM: wake up, and get ready (if no one is in the bathroom yet!)

6:30-40 AM: boil the hot water, and make me some instant coffee boyyyy, and begin my quiet time with the Lord

7:15 AM: begin group devotional time, we are currently going through the devotional by Seth Barnes, called “The Art of Listening Prayer”

8:00 AM: devotional is finished, breakfast time! I typically eat some yogurt with granola, and maybe an avocado with some salt and pepper, and even maybe some peanut butter

8:25 AM: debriefing the day before, and prayer time

9:00 AM: leave for ministry! (if the bus arrives on time, #Africantime #justworldracethangz)

9:15 AM: we arrive at our ministry location (our ministry for the next 6 weeks is working with kids, ages 8-16, in an after school program, where we help tutor them in their homework, literacy, and numeracy, as well as worshiping and practicing music, and through all of this, this ministry incorporates the gospel into it, which is super awesome!)

9:15 AM-12:00 PM: my team helps around the house, with whatever leadership needs- for instance, today, Julia and I deep cleaned the two bathrooms, then I eventually helped Grace and Shelby in painting rocks and helping make crafts for the kids, and Julia helped with “teacher things” with Hannah and Sarah!

12:00-2:00 PM: lunch break, baby!!! Which looks like eating our packed lunch from home, and normally walking downtown, to a coffee shop, to do our team time that we do every day

2:00 PM: this week, Sarah and I are working in the kitchen, preparing snacks for the kids, so that’s what we do until 2:25 when the kids arrive, along with a time in prayer with the administration praying for the kids and the day

2:25 PM: kids arrive!!!

2:40 PM: Hannah, Julia, and I go with the older kids in helping them with tutoring

3:10 PM: two ages groups come back together to participate in worship (it gets lit)

3:40 PM: children split into literacy and numeracy sessions- Hannah, Julia, and I go with the numeracy group

4:20 PM: wrap-up and cleaning

4:30 PM: say goodbye to the kids and taxi back to the house

4:45 PM: arrive back home, and we have free time (typically) until dinner- some things I normally do: rest, water color, read my Bible, socialize, watch movies, or even walk to our local grocery store/mall

6:00 PM: dinner timeee, everyone is always so hype about dinner because our host mom is the BEST cook

7:00 PM: more free time, unless we weren’t able to get our team time in during lunch!

8:00 PM: get ready for bed, shower if needed (who knows though because there’s 15+ girls sharing that shower), all the girly things

8:20-9:30 PM: hang out, and free time, unless a sis is tired, then I’ll go to sleep already (typically not the case, because loud house, lol)

9:30 PM: bed time and lights out! zzzz (yes, we have a bed time)
