Hey guys! So I wanted to updated everyone on my fundraising and new info I have on our ministries! As of this past week I am FULLY FUNDED!!!! God has used people in HUGE ways to provide for this trip. Thank you to each and every person who helped support me, whether it was through buying a bracelet, a shirt, or just donating directly to my trip. I appreciate all of it!
I leave in 10 days!! So what exactly am I going to be doing for 3 months??
T H A I L A N D…
We will be partnering with another ministry called YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Our ministries will potentially include:
- Teaching English
- Children’s Ministry
- Mercy Ministry (reaching out to Karen/Burmese communities)
- Youth ministry (high school & university aged students)
- Church Planting (organizing camps, seminars, and events. Working alongside local churches.)
- Prison Ministry.
As of now it looks like we will be teaching English Mon-Thurs and then visiting a radio show and doing children’s ministry on Fridays. The other ministries will be mixed in there.
C A M B O D I A…
We will be partnering with New Hope For Orphans. They have services provided to over 400 children, teenagers, and youth. Our ministry with them will potentially include:
- Playing with the orphans
- Teaching English
- Teaching Bible classes
- Manual Labor Projects
- Outreach with the Pastor
- Prayer Walking
We will typically be spending our mornings working with the children doing different ministries and then in the afternoons we will be teaching English to the young children and youth.
I am beyond excited to see what God has for each of us in the next 3 months. Please continue to be in prayer for my team and I as we prepare to launch in 10 days! Pray that God would prepare us spiritually to be ready to share Him with the people of Thailand and Cambodia. Pray that as satan attacks we would remain strong. Pray that God would prepare us to leave our families for the next 3 months so that His name could be made known.
