The World Race parent,

Our Son came home from College and told us that he wanted to do “The World Race”. Initially I thought he was talking about “The Amazing Race” the television reality show. So, I really didn’t give it much thought and was like whatever. As time went along, he was able to better explain what this was all about. Honestly, I would have been more excited about the T.V. show vs. the reality of the situation. Especially when he started telling me about the Countries that he would be visiting, the financial obligation and the time investment that all of this would require. So, I basically had a real frank conversation that if this was meant to be it would be up to God and him for all this to happen. So, we prayed together as a family and individually for God to put all the pieces together if it was meant to be and what Jordan was called to do. The first piece that came together was Jordan was able to secure the time off from his Job obligations which was a miracle all of its own. I can’t really go into details about that just trust me when I say that was huge and I privately thought there would be no way this would happen. Then Jordan started going to different groups, presenting his calling and explaining his need for prayer, protection for Him and His team as well as the financial needs. At which point the financial piece started to materialize which was nothing more than God. As a parent it was very humbling to see the outpouring of support that Jordan started to receive. Also, the feedback we would get from these presentations was amazing to hear and nothing short of an anointing.

So, as parents worry still creeps in and there have been a few situations over the past few months that was a little concerning to say the least. But there has been and continues to be a lot of prayer covering Jordan and his team. We have turned this over to God and he has most definitely showed up and showed out when it comes to this mission.

I do ask that whoever reads this please lift this Team up in your prayers specifically praying for protection, provision and open doors. For the ones that have been and continue to pray for this team, Thank You, is not really enough.
