This Post is in Honor of Harrison Miley.
Harrison is the son of Darren Miley. Darren started work at my church through my middle school years and is still currently working there today. He has been a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Along with his uncanny ability to ask questions like Dr.Phil that allows a conversation to go beyond what you expect. His knowledge allowed me to get through a lot of hard times.
To honor a man that God has put into my life to see me through trying times, I will honor his son’s memory by Passing the Patchouli. This is a way to remember Harrison through traveling around with a personal item from the time he was alive.
So throughout the race when you see a Pass the Patchouli post you will know the background and purpose.
