Hey guys this post is a little late but I needed to be out of India before posting. As some of you know my team was blessed while we were in India. We only went to the village for four days. It was definitely a different world being there. We only got to leave the house during the Christmas party and on the last day when we went to the other homes for the boys. We stayed at the girls home while we there. Even with us only getting out of the house those two times we still managed to make it in their local newspaper. You can only see Kate and myself in the photo but Cassandra and Ana where there as well. This photo is taken during a cake cutting ceremony. It’s a blessing for the host or hostess to cut the cake and feed it to you. Kind of like the bride and groom at a wedding reception. Ongole was completely different. We were able to actually intact with the kids in the village. Were as in Hyderabad we weren’t able to. In Ongole, they have a class where some of the older kids make jewelry and sell them to have an income for the SCH home there. Several of my teammates and myself bought gifts that they made to support them. India definitely has a new place in my heart after spending only 40 days there. It’s become a country that I will return to at least once more in my life.

Love you guys!
