Hey you guys!!!! Panama was an extremely challenging for me and I grew so much during this month. It was also the most difficult farewell so far for me personally. Here’s why this month has been challenging.
This past month my team was partnered with another team called Stream team. Both of our teams stayed at a YWAM base roughly an hour away from David. During our stay we had many different ministries- children’s cancer care center, nursing home, children orphanage, women’s hospital, painting, and community center. I got the opportunity to share part of my testimony. It was an extremely emotional day for me. In the morning we had cleaned the apartment style housing for the women then came back to feed them lunch and share a skit or a word with them. I had 3 different teammates tell me that they thought I should be the one to speak. I already knew that I was going to be the one to speak because God was telling me to. I was just being extremely stubborn and refusing to be obedient. Long story short I spoke and the part of my testimony that I shared spoke to the women on a personal level. At least that’s what several of my teammates told me after we left. Honestly, that day was the most challenging and rewarding day I’ve experienced on the field so far. I’m sure there will be many more challenging day to come.
On a different note, I shared a few hours ago what my fundraising needs were well that has changed and I’m loving every single one of you!!! I’m NOW only $715 away from being fully funded. If you feel led please click on the orange donate button at the top of the screen. I’ve been praying that my team and I’ll be fully funded before we arrive in Spain since Costa Rica. Thank you all so much for all your prayers, love, support, and encouraging words they mean so much. As well as read your guys comments on my blogs.
Much Love!!! Jamie or as my teammates call me Mama J.
