Mark 5:28 For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well”

Lately I have been in a place where I feel everyone is adulting really well and I am currently living with the parents ha (cue No Scrubs by TLC). But for real I feel like a scrub, I ran into a good friend of mine and he has started a family and is working for a good company and I am like should I be doing that. Meanwhile, I am fundraising to be dropped off in 11 different countries for 11 months and this waiting period is a big switch for me. Honestly I want to grasp for anything and everything to fill me up because I feel I need to be needed (I am 2 if y’all are Enneagram Nerds).

The Father has been telling me to just sit still. He has been saying I am all you need, that I need to be fully dependent upon the Father. It has been so timely that the verse Mark 5:28 comes up, the woman that has been bleeding for years says ” If I touch even his garments, I will be made well”. As people we are so quick to grasp for anything and everything to fill us up, instead ask the Father to help reach for Him.That we may touch the fringe of his robe and find healing and wholeness for the brokenness of our heart and soul.

When we finally understand that we are dependent on God we are free to enjoy everything else, without it consuming us. It has been a time to Hope in the Lord in the midst of brokenness. No matter where you are at we need to Hope, and Hope is the absolute expectation that there is coming good from the Lord. Even when we break our promises or when we are unfaithful He is not. Paul puts it this way ” if we are faithless, he remains faithful”. I believe God uses all things, because He cares way more about who we are to become rather than our instant happiness. Friends today let us grab the fringe of His robe and we will be made well, you can Hope in that.
