If I get to be a tourist I want to…

  1. Panama Canal (obviously)

  2. Panama Viejo – remains of the first city in Panama

  3. Cerro Ancon – hike Ancon hill for panoramic views of the whole city

 

Food I want to try:

  1. Carimanolas – stuffed yuca fritters with cheese and seasoned ground beef

  2. Plantanos Maduros – plantains cooked in butter, vanilla, and cinnamon, often served with coconut rice

  3. Ceviche – from the fresh seafood market

  4. No Me Olvides – biscuit layered with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a secret sauce
