Hello from Atlanta!!
I am officially at launch. How wild. I have been preparing for this moment for many, many days now. One of my biggest fears after committing to the race was figuring out how in the world I was going to pack for an entire year of travel. Just thinking about it made my head spin. But, after scouring the internet for months and reading every World Race packing guide, blog, and video known to man, I finally came up with my own. So, I hope this gives you some insight into how I’ll be living for the next 11 months, and I hope this helps any of you future racers fretting about packing (spoiler alert: you can do it)!

1 pair of leggings
1 pair of joggers
2 pairs of jeans
1 midi skirt
1 knee-length dress
1 maxi dress
1 over-sized t-shirt and a pair of shorts for pajamas
4 sports bras
2 regular bras

1 swimsuit
1 hoodie
1 rain jacket

Some people might argue that I packed too much clothing, some may say it’s not enough. It’s all personal preference. I like to have clothing options, that’s important to me, so I packed a little more. As long as everything fits and you’re under the weight limit, do as you please ๐

I don’t wear much makeup on a normal day, so this will get me through the year just fine!
I hate not having my toenails painted, so nail polish was a necessity for me. Plus, it’ll be fun to paint nails for other girls I meet ๐
All of my toiletries are packed into the kit above, and I also packed a small bag of hair ties, bobby pins, and headbands. The ziplock bag is full of feminine products.

My daypack is the Northface Recon. Everything pictured above, along with my raincoat, will go into it! I also brought some Melatonin and Ibuprofen in a small ziplock bag.
Things will probably change month to month as I drop things and add new ones, but we’ll see!! I’ll update ya as I go.
As always, thanks for reading ๐
