Hey y’all!
My name is Hannah. I am 26 years old, and I’m from the sweet city of Huntsville, AL. I have some amazing parents who have worked so hard to make me and my sister into the strong and God-fearing women that we are. And my younger sister Melody (Mel) is pretty much the other half of my heart.
I graduated from college a few years ago with my education degree. I taught my first year in public school, and man was it a challenge. That year really stretched me and made me realize how strong I was. I realized I wanted to know what else I could be capable of. However, I was tired. Like really tired. I took a break from teaching and worked retail for a couple of years. I made some amazing friends through those couple of years, and they have been so supportive of my decision to go on the race. Currently, I am back in a school subbing and loving it! The main thing I am learning is when you begin to pray for God to use you as a vessel, He will. The way that He uses you will surprise you. I have certainly been surprised by the situations and people I have been placed in front of. As long as I stay surrendered to what His plan is, and not my own, I will enjoy the future surprises knowing God has it all under control.
