Hello, I’m Haley! Mt. Pulaski, Illinois is a tiny little farm town that I get to call home. Currently, I’m a 22 year old recent college graduate with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
You can probably find me drinking iced coffee, dancing, playing sand volleyball with friends, cuddling with my cat, sporting a St. Louis Blues jersey, laughing at memes, or singing along to music (long car rides + good music = my favorite thing). I also love prison ministry and being an advocate for the defenseless specifically for human rights.
I felt called to the world race in March 2018 when God put a yearning in my heart to do something big and totally crazy for Him. I refused to be limited to the world’s expectations of beginning my career and striving for the American dream immediately after college. I knew that wasn’t what God had planned for my life yet. I think God has called me to this ministry because I have a burning passion to see the world, do something completely radical for the Lord, and to know God on a deeper level. I want to see what The Church looks like outside of the comfort of this country, and I want to grow and step more into the power and gifts and wisdom that the Lord has for me.
I’m confident that God has amazing things in store through the World Race, and by pursuing this, it’s one step closer to the calling that The Lord has for me—whatever that may be. I’m so excited for this journey and to see how God uses me!!!
