Hey guys! So if you don’t know me I am Gracie Greer and I am 18 years old! I am a senior in high school and am homeschooled! and here is a little info about me!:)
So, let me start by saying that I have never blogged before so it may take me a few tries to get this down but I am working on it! I am so thankful to have a platform like this to get to share about my life and what God is doing in the world around me! If you know me I am sure you have noticed that I have a camera glued to my hand always and absolutely love capturing moments in my life and in the lives of my friends and family. But there are many feelings and stories that a photo can’t always share so I am so excited to get to use my blog to fill in some of those gaps and share stories behind all the pictures I hold so dear to my heart.
A Little bit about where I am from-
I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and while this small town seemed to be boring when I was young, this past year I have learned to love it for all its quirks. This small corner of the world I call home has given me some amazing memories, friends, family, and community. From hiking the gorgeous trails, afternoons in the city, and Sunday mornings at church. I could not ask for anything more from a city.
My journey with Christ-
Growing up I went to a summer camp called Camp Ozark, and wow let me say I fully believe that God uses each camp counselor, mom, helpers, and camper there to reach his children and to share his love. But it wasn’t until I was 13 years old when I was introduced to a group of girls who lived differently. They had a joy in their heart and just a way about them that made them stand out. They were filled with the love of God and the holy spirit and God used that to reach me and my heart. These girls taught me what it looked like to live a life chasing after God and his kingdom rather than earthly things and empty promises. These girls lit a fire in my heart for God and I am forever thankful for that. There simple act of obedience changed my life. Ever since that year I have been growing in my relationship with the Lord and in the past few years I have fallen in love with serving! I can’t wait to share more of my story with you throughout the next two years!
Things I love-
Well first of I love God and I love serving with all my heart but a few other hobbies I have are photography, kiddos, and sports. I already dived into this a little bit but one of my passions is photography! Capturing moments in people’s life’s and creating a tangible memory. I also love getting to capture this beautiful world we live in, everything from the perfect sunsets we have here in my hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas to the beautifully broken city streets of countries across the world. adding on to my list of passions is kids! The act of getting to care for and love on Gods kiddos gives me so much joy! I grew up playing sports and man did I love running, swimming, volleyball, and every sport in between! While I don’t play any sports anymore because of a few knee injuries throughout the years they still hold a special spot in my heart!
That was a lot of info for my first post and I know I am missing a few details about my life but I promise to include those later down the line! Thank you so much for reading up on me and I can’t wait to share more of what Gods putting on my heart I the next two years!
