Hi guys!! I know this isn’t the most exciting blog so I will try to keep it short and sweet, but it is very important so please don’t discount it!
As many of you know, in order to come on the World Race, I had to raise $10,000 and in order to go the full duration of the race, I needed to raise $16,600 total. This money covers my food, lodging, airfare, etc.
As of now, I have raised $11, 247 and I need to raise $5,353 more to be fully funded! My deadline to have this money raised is February 1st, a little less than two months away. I know that may seem like a daunting number for such a short amount of time, but I have seen God move in huge ways financially for both me and my squad-mates and I know that $5,353 is not too big for Him. An abundance of people have donated to me throughout this journey and I cannot say enough how thankful I am for that. You guys are the reason that I have had the opportunity to go to these amazing countries with my squad and serve for God’s kingdom. I would love to take a second to remind anyone reading this why I am so passionate about the World Race and what these donations are going towards in the bigger picture.
Our world is such a dark place that is in desperate need of God’s love. So many people are currently missing out on a relationship with the Creator of the world and have been walking through life with no sense of direction. They feel purposeless, unworthy, unloved, etc. As Christians, we get the opportunity to go out and spread the good news! We get to share that there is a God who calls every single one of us His children and pursues us. This earth is not our temporary home and we can find a forever home with Him in Heaven if we accept Him into our hearts as our savior and choose to live a life walking with Him. God doesn’t NEED us in order to speak to His children, but He invites us into this opportunity, which is such a beautiful thing. The World Race is such a wonderful chance to simply spread God’s love and point people to our Father. A wonderful chance to plant a seed.
How can you help me?
1.) Prayer- I know this may sound cliché, but there really is so much power in prayer. I would be so appreciative if you could pray for me and my squad mates to have financial favor and that the donations would flood in. Also, please be in prayer that this is a chance for each of us to grow in our faith and that we do not begin to get discouraged by it.
