Hey family.

All packed and ready to go!

Tomorrow my feet will meet the grounds of Atlanta Georgia for training camp. There I will get to meet my entire team (Darian, Bridget, Casey, Gracie, Hailey, Hannah, Jessica, Katelyn, Makena, Mallory, Olivia, Sam, Sidney) and our staff leaders. These are the sisters in Christ I’ll get to serve alongside for the next few months..

I want to share God’s faithfulness and update you on a few things. In the beginning of raising support for this trip it was a tough learning experience, reaching out to loved ones and saving money from my part time job. I had to trust that even if the money didn’t come in when I wanted it to, He had a purpose. Through a difficult time from getting my passport to these very last days before launch, God has been so good to me as He always has been to us all. Through all of it He’s comforted me with His word that fills the deepest places of my heart and with loved ones like you, that He’s chosen to use and you’ve responded out of love and obedience. God has provided more than enough and made the way to be fully funded.

Thank you for supporting me in prayer and financially for this trip, I’m thankful that I don’t have to do this alone, I get to share this all with you. You have given an investment that doesn’t fade away. What I get to do is because YOU have helped with  the way to get there, you are apart of this story, that shows His goodness. Though my cell phone will be disconnected you can still email me or check out the blog for a read on any ministry updates/prayer request from myself or other teammates.

Here are just a few things you can be praying for:

  • Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Health for the staff and missionaries serving.

  • Counseling needs for kids working through past and present hurts.

  • Funding for the ministry to continue housing and feedings.(KIM)

  • God’s word and love to be taught and shown to the community of Tacloban.

  • All flights to and from

In Christ,

Genesis
