Hey y’all!
My name is Eva Helf and I’m from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I have a borderline unhealthy love for sweatshirts, you can catch me in an oversized sweatshirt and leggings like 90% of the time. I would eat dumplings all day everyday if given the chance and Nutella is honestly a God send. My favorite color is forest green, I love hammocking and just taking in God’s creation around me. Art has always played a huge role in my life and I’ve recently taken up photography. My family is my biggest advocate and they’ve been so supportive about my decision to not go to college immediately so I can do the World Race Gap Year program and I am so thankful for them! My friends have compared me to a 3 Musketeers; “hard” exterior with a soft nougat-y inside. I may seem tough at first but i have a huge heart for people and it doesn’t take long to figure that out. About 4 years ago I felt called to full time ministry and I really didn’t know what that meant for me and I still don’t fully. But during these 4 years of praying to God about what this calling means I heard about the World Race,2 years ago, and i fell in love immediately and i knew that God placed it on my heart for a reason, and this is it! To leave home for 9 months to live out his word in 3 different countries; Swaziland (now Eswatini), Thailand, and Nicaragua!!!
This blog will be a place for my supporters and literally anyone else to follow me on this journey these next 2 years! I’m so excited to see the work that Lord is going to do through my team!
With love,
Eva
