2018 was a tough year for me and my family, something that I have learned is that through all these highs and the lowest lows, we have to praise God. Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” I find it very easy to praise God only when things are going well, and when everything is going my way. But, that’s not how it works. God is always good, no matter what we are going through, we must always praise Him. We can’t just praise Him when we want to or when things are going well for us. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” The apostle Paul sets a great example in of this, he was stoned, left to die, imprisoned, tortured and had to flee out of cities for his life. Yet, despite all these things he praises God. If Paul found just a moment of peace, he would praise God. Paul was just untouchable, nothing fazed him. He knew that everything he was going through is a part of Gods plan and that the pain he was feeling was only helping further the kingdom of God. 2019 is going to be a crazy year filled with whole new highs and lows, but I want to praise God through them all. I hope you will all do the same! Happy new year:)
