Hey there, welcome to my page! I’m Emilie McNatt and I’m SO excited for the adventure that God has set before me!
A little bit about myself…
I’m 22 years old, sandwiched between one brother above me and three brothers below.
I’m one year out of nursing school and I currently work as a registered nurse in the operating room at a hospital here in Knoxville, TN (GO VOLS!).
I currently live with my 2 best friends but I’m super stoked to start living out of a backpack come January.
I absolutely love ministry, and I absolutely love traveling, so the World Race has been on my radar for a few years now.
I’ve felt the Lord pushing me towards long term missions since high school, but I’ve never felt that the timing has been right. Things came up and I kept making excuses. Nursing school, relationships, apartment leases, etc. But a few weeks ago I found myself in a sweet spot, and I applied for the World Race before I had time to talk myself out of it (again).
It’s been a whirlwind as far as applying, waiting for phone calls, acceptance, realizing how much money I have to raise…but I feel SUCH a peace knowing that every moment I’m in the Lord’s hands. I’m excited to throw myself into ministry and completely “trust fall” into the Lord and into my community! So here’s the bit where I’d like to humbly ask each and every one of you to pray that the Lord would work IN and THROUGH me from now until November 2019 when I return home from the World Race. I’d also like to ask you to consider donating on the financial end to help me reach my goal of $18,700!
