Moving quickly has been the theme of this month.With catching buses, work projects, school, and overall catching a breath to rest.
Constant moving can be exhausting! It sometimes requires organization and thought out plans. If you are anything like me,you may enjoy those extra 5 minutes of not moving.Anyone that knows me would tell you I have a higher sense of motivation in spontaneity! I’m always up for adventure and this sure has been one.
I wanted to highlight the power of slowing down.You see it’s a process.Starting with the choice to be aware of it. Something you have to ask the Lord what do you want me to see? Where should I rest? With deadlines and buses to catch I get the frustration in taking time to slow down.
What are you missing by not slowing down?An opportunity to serve someone?How about a conversation to share the Gospel?
This coming month the Lord has placed it on my heart to slow down and focus! I would encourage you to take a few moments to slow down and ask him what you are missing!
