In the afternoon on Tuesday I shared my testimony with my team! During the week I had a handful of my teammates asked where do I get my constant joy and happiness from. I had no idea how to respond back. After praying and thinking it over. I definitely got it from my Heavenly Father. 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctity the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;”
I never thought too much of it before or took it to heart. As long as I remember I try to find the good in every situation and everyone who I meet. It is truly crazy to think how much has changed in my life just a little over 2 years! For the longest time I had a hard time seeing the purpose and understanding why everything had to happen! I still struggle with why. I truly believe I would not be here in Nicaragua if my dad was still alive. I would have never gotten the amazing opportunity to share my testimony last Sunday in a Spanish church. My life would definitely be different. I would not have this strong faith story! I am thankful for God always being there for me and leading me where I need to go! I choose joy! I find my hope in Jesus! I try to look for the positive side in every situation!

A Glimpse of Week 3 in Ometepe Nicaragua
Monday morning I helped out in the cafeteria at the school! In the afternoon I helped out wiping down the laptops with disinfectant wipes. Tuesday I had the opportunity to go out and evangelize. We went walked around and asked if we could pray for them. While walking around my group decided to pray to get a better sense of where God wanted us to go! At the end of praying a couple rolled up on a motorcycle and parked. At the end of our prayer we said hola and asked if we could pray for them. They said yes! In the afternoon on Tuesday I shared my testimony with my team. Wednesday through Friday I helped out cleaning the cafeteria and passing out food in the cafeteria. In the evenings we hangout and played with the kids. Thursday night we watched a movie with the kids which was in Spanish. It was a little confusing although it was enjoyable and a great experience. I love spending time with the kids and getting to know them!

Thank you for your prayers,

Dalice
