Hello!!!

It’s crazy how fast life goes by, when I look back at my past, I wasn’t satisfied living a mediocre life. Not until I went on my first mission trip to the Dominican Republic two years ago, is when I realized what God’s plan was for my life. I fell in love with every part of a mission trip. The purpose of a mission trip is going to help people and spread the word of God. What I didn’t know was how much the people would touch me and how God’s work would take place right in front of my own eyes. It’s very overwhelming, and completely changed the course of my life. My relationship with God grew tremendously. With that being said, I have been given the opportunity to go on a long-term mission trip next August 2019 to 11 countries in 11 months. Going from a five-day mission to 11 months is a big leap of faith but I trust God in every way.

The World Race is a program of Adventures in Missions, an established 501©3 non-profit missions’ organization that has sent more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world since 1989. The World Race started 11 years ago sending 5,000 people around the world. They have 1,163 ministry partners in 79 countries. The countries I’m going to are Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Romina, Bulgaria, Albania, and Greece. To say I’m excited is an understatement.

I always questioned where I am in my life, frustrated at moments and questioning God’s plan. Looking back over the past couple of years, I can see how God was lining up my future to get me where I’m at right now. I thank God for my past and my future. I feel secure saying that I’m at the right place at the right time. I want to thank each and every one that supports me with my decision. Make sure to subscribe to my blog, when I’m gone I will be able to give updates and share many pictures. This is just the start to my journey.
