As a season of my life has come to a close with my recent graduation from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Athletic Training, many are curious what this new season has in store. Here are the most frequently asked questions I’ve been receiving in the past few months.

What’s next for you after college?
I am going on the World Race! (If you’ve reached my blog, you probably already know that, though haha).

What is the World Race?
The World Race is a program that exists through the organization Adventures in Missions. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip that visits 11 different countries (about 1 country per month).

What countries are you going to?
We start in Central America with Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Then we head to Africa where we will visit Morocco, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. Finally, we travel to Asia for the last five countries: India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia.

What will you be doing in each country?
We won’t find out the location within a country or the ministry opportunity until a couple weeks before going to that country. But, in most countries, Adventures in Missions already has full-time missionaries there that we will be working with, and established ministries that we will be assisting with. Some examples of things we might do: teach children English, build a home or a church, work with victims of human trafficking, feeding communities or bringing them clean water, help with disaster reliefs.

When does your trip start?
I leave for Gainesville, GA on June 3rd where I will be attending Training Camp. Then, around June 15th my squad will depart for our first country: Nicaragua.

How many people are going with you?
There are about 40 other Racers who are planning to go on the same route as me. We will all travel together, but we will divide up into smaller teams of 6 or 7 people within the countries.

Are you fundraising for this trip?
Yes! I have to raise a total of $19,200 which will pay for most of the field expenses during this trip. If you would like to support me financially, I would be so appreciative! You can donate here on my blog website by clicking “Donate” at the top of the page. Otherwise, contact me directly for other ways to donate. If you are unable to support financially, I completely understand and I would be extremely grateful for prayer support as well! Thank you for your support!

These are the most common questions I receive, but if you have any others please feel free to comment below or contact me directly! I’d love to answer any questions you may have.
