Woah, I sit here in my prayer closet not really sure where to start because Daddy God has been teaching me so much over the last 11 days. When I got my work schedule at the beginning of last week, I had noticed I had gotten scheduled less days than normal and I was like “Jesus whats up with this? you know I need to work to raise money for the world race.” I then heard the Holy Spirit remind me about the Power and Love conference that was taking place in DC only about 3 hours from where I am. I am very inspired by Todd White and Dan Mohler and it has been on my heart a while to attend a power and love but the finances and timing never worked out in the past. I found the facebook event and saw that sure enough power and love was happening that week so I decided to follow the holy spirits prompting and I reached out to my church community and I was able to find a ride. I had to release two shifts from work also that week to be able to attend. It was challenging because “Logically” I needed to work what little shifts I was given to put towards the fundraising but I kept hearing Holy Spirit saying trust me I am bigger than logics, follow my spirit. I prayed and told Daddy God that if my shifts were able to be covered I would go to DC and sure enough they were covered. I was then able to pick up a shift that made up for one of the ones that I released and I shared to one of my tables about the conference and when they were leaving they handed me 60 bucks cash and said this is for DC! That 60 bucks helped pay for over half my conference ticket, praise God! This is just getting started, haha! So I left for DC Thursday morning totally prepared to spend the night in a car that night to save money, and that night at the end of the conference Holy Spirit gave me a vision of myself eating hotel breakfast during the closing prayer lol and I laughed to myself and said “yes Jesus that would be awesome.” So the prayer ends and my friend from church walks up to me and says “Hey my friends, Johnathan and Sharon got you a hotel room.” I was in shock! I seriously was happy to sleep in a car that night but Jesus had other glorious plans for me and the vision he showed me was actually him being anxious about his surprise for me! I thanked Johnathan and he told me about how he has slept in hotel lobbys and cars before and he understands the hunger for Jesus and he and his wife wanted to bless me, they are also missionaries. he told me “God is going to supply all your needs.” I got to the hotel room and had an amazing worship session with Jesus and enjoyed the amazing gift I was blessed with. Jesus also knows how much I love waffles and in the morning part of the free breakfast was a waffle maker station!!!! Also at the conference I was able to see my friend Tara and her family who I haven’t seen in awhile and I was able to share with her about the world race mission trip and she told me she would pray about it and then sow a seed. I woke up this morning to a 3,000 dollar donation, completely speechless and full of tears of joy! I am beyond grateful for Gods goodness and for what he is teaching me about following his ways and not the “ways that seem right” or “logical.” I could of very easily not listened to holy spirit and missed out on the goodness that God had already gone ahead of me to prepare. I cried a lot in my room when I kept hearing his voice telling me to go to power and love when I knew I was only at 529 raised and had to reach 5,000 by September 25th. I cried because my spirit knows the truth and was choosing to follow him but my flesh and the enemy kept telling me so many lies and every fiber in my being was making me feel crazy for choosing to release shifts and choose to go to DC and spend money that I needed to save, but as I would cry with the Holy Spirit Jesus broke off all the lies and kept comforting me with his peace. I felt like when I was crying I was mourning my old way of thinking and opening my self up to become more intimate with truly trusting in letting Holy Spirit lead me. I learned so much at the power and love conference and I gained even more freedom and daddy God revealed to me deeper layers of his love and delight in me. Todd and Dan preach the simple gospel which is that the blood of Jesus has truly set us free in every area of our lives, all old things are dead and are redeemed when we accept Jesus, its a one step process. I will live everyday of my life walking in the freedom that Jesus died to give me. The devil is forever defeated there is no battle with him it’s just battling the good fight of faith! I know that when things come against me in life that none of them are as big as my God and I will stand strong in the firm foundation of his love! Today on the beach while I was running I saw a girl probably about 12 years old walking out of the water and she seemed to be speaking to me, so I took out my head phones and said hey to her, she said ” I popped my knee in the water.” she was limping also so I said “I can pray for it” at first she was hesitant but I explained how I just went to a healing conference and she agreed to let me pray over her knee. I put my hand on her knee and I said a simple prayer and sure enough she looks at me in shock and smiles and says “wow, its so much better,” she high fives me then ran off to her mother! praise Jesus ! I love seeing Jesus love and heal on others through me and I cant wait to get to have experiences like this all over the world! I love you all and I am praying over all of you. I pray that this week Daddy God will surround you with his peace, love, and joy like a blanket. I pray that daddy God will release heavenly dreams and peaceful sleep over you all as well! Please continue to pray over me during this time of preparation of my heart and fundraising. I have until September 25th to reach my 5,000 goal and I have high faith that it will be done without a doubt! I can’t wait to write my next blog to you all.
