Hey y’all my name is Brooke and I am pretty much your typical 21 year old. I grew up in a sleepy little beach town on the central coast of California which is where my love for doing anything outside especially of it involves a body of water comes from, I currently live in the cute little college town of Chapel Hill NC (GO HEELS). One thing you should probably know about me is that I like to affectionately refer to myself as a college drop out, I tried to do the normal college thing, I tried many schools and majors but sitting in a classroom just felt pointless and have decided that school is not for everyone and the way God has called me to serve Him doesn’t involve the typical 4 year college education. I have known for many years that I was called to live a life set apart from the rest of the world. I lived in Guatemala my first year of college doing full time missions and school online. When I came back from that year I knew that ministry was something that was supposed to me the center of my life. I got involved with Younglife when I was in high school and decided to become a leader when I returned to the states, I am currently a Wyldlife leader at Stanback middle school in Hillsborough NC. I am so excited to finally get back on the missions field this year with Adventures in Missions, I will miss my town, friends, family but I have peace that this is Gods will and He will provide.
