From the moment I started the World Race Gap Year the Lord spoke over me over and over that “your race will not be a short one”. And here I am month 7 in Thailand. 7 months I got to share my passion for Jesus and my passion for people. My very first blog I posted was how I am passionate about Jesus and passionate about people. Over the past 7 months my passion for Jesus and for people has grown in more ways than I ever thought it could.
I got to go to 3 completely different cultures and spread the love of Jesus that was unique and different to each one of them. Guatemala consisted of many house visits and covering Los Encinos in prayer. Ethiopia allowed me to pour into Ethiopia’s future leaders, the orphans at HOPEthiopia. Thailand I have been able to pray over every Buddhist temple I visited and I also got to pray over women who are bound in chains. My passion for Jesus grew in every culture in amazing and different ways. The way I see and love people will forever be different due to the World Race Gap Year giving me the opportunity to see people for who they are, who God says these people are, all sons and daughters of the most high King.
Unfortunately, my squad along with all other world race squads are being sent back to the states due to growth and spread of COVID-19. Although I am being sent back to the states for the last 2 months of the race, my race is not over and just like God said my race is not going to be a short one. God is calling me to continue doing ministry to a country that is in distress and fear. I get to continue being the light to the people of the United States. How beautiful is it that God is humbling me to realize that ministry isn’t just overseas, it is also in your backyard.
God is so good and I know that He is using everything that is happening in the world right now for His Kingdom. Thank you God for this amazing opportunity. I’m ready to continue spreading your Kingdom wherever you send me.
