This post is long overdue, but here we are almost two months later…
At the end of Kyrgyzstan/beginning of Ethiopia, I learned a very important lesson.
Actions aren’t always louder than words.
I’ve always been the biggest advocate for “they will know Him by our love” (my adaptation of John 13:35 haha). I still do believe this, but I came to the realization that if you don’t ever put words to your actions, people will never know who or what the motivation behind them are.
I’ve realized that often I’ve hidden behind my actions, especially when it comes to evangelism.
I can treat others with kindness and give generously all day, but if I never even mention the name of Jesus, I am missing out on a huge opportunity to present the WHY. Yes, the Lord is all powerful and can bring those revelations to His people without me saying a word. BUT, if I have a mouth and the Lord has empowered and commissioned me to share about Him, why wouldn’t I seize the opportunity to put a name to the action.
Short and simple, but wow how it’s changed so much.
I hope y’all are doing well! Keep on learning, growing and loving. Life’s too short to not.
P.S. I am only $900 away from being fully funded! PRAISE GOD! That is huge!! I ask that you prayerfully consider donating to me or sharing with others what I’m doing! Thanks in advance! 🙂
-This is me signing off from Kenya!!
