Hey Friends!

I am sorry it has been awhile since Ive posted!

I am currently in Malaysia and I am L O V I N G it! I am learning and seeing and experiencing! It has been so much that the draft for the blog I was going post is more similar to a novel with incomplete chapters than a blog … lol. So, that is in process and will come eventually. For the time being I thought I’d do a quick check in πŸ™‚

I posted a video on my instagram that is an overview of our time in Thailand! I am also still processing that season of life and all I learned there too … lots is happening in my brain! (here is the link to watch it https://www.instagram.com/tv/B4693clJPpQ/?hl=en

Also, I post more on my instagram than facebook so follow me on here if you want more updates

Time is also going so fast it feels like! The days feel long as they are full of activities, the weeks go fast and the months even faster. We will be in Malaysia until the first week of December and then off to India!!

Here in Malaysia we are working with Pastor Thomas (aka PT). He is one of the most incredible people ive ever met. He is teaching us so much about life and about love, and he does it not by the words he says (although those these are super great too) but by the way he lives his life in love. He loves people genuinely, and it is because of his relationship with Jesus. Truly inspiring! I cannot wait to tell you more!!

We are staying at PT’s mom house which has been so great! It is homey and is always full of laughs and the smell of her cooking. We have been BLESSED with AC and I get to be on a bed πŸ™‚ I even have Peanut Butter!!! Im a happy gal

So far we have been being a part of weekend services — some girls have shared encouraging words and messages from the bible, some have been helping in worship times and some of us have been teaching “dance lessons” … can ya guess which one ive been helping with πŸ˜‰ ? The “Git Up” was a hit! (Shout to Vanessa and Grandma Sandy). haha! its been such a blast! We’ve also gotten the opportunity to volunteer at a school for Special Needs Kids. I have loved this and they stole my heart! I cant wait to go back there this week.

In a short time we’ve made friends with such amazing people. We have gotten to build relationships with people by having the opportunity to do “house church”, which has been my favorite thing we’ve done so far. This is also one of PT’s and his wife’s passions. Friendship and showing kindness and love to people is their priority and it is how they share about Jesus; they show it and then tell about it – wow. House church looks like visiting people from the church or people from the community, and the focus is to build real relationships and telling people about God by loving them and meeting them wherever they are at. People here are so incredibly kind and generous. They welcome us into their homes where we get to listen to them, talk with them, share an encouraging story and or bible verses, pray for them and with them, and of course, eat πŸ™‚ the food here is SO good. I love hearing the stories of how Gods love has changed these peoples lives and all that he is doing in their hearts. Lots of tears and laughs fill the hours of these nights and it is very life giving.

I cant wait to unpack more but for now here is a look into where I am and what im doing!

Biggest lesson so far? Love is a game changer.

I only have access to wifi on the weekends (usually on Saturday) and its usually in the middle of the day when all of your are sleeping haha.

But please keep sending me messages and videos because they mean more than you know! Also, the microphone on my phone is busted so it wont let me watch marco polos or send them πŸ™

I like vidoes because I can see your faces and hear your voices! Please send me stuff via Whatsapp, instagram, facebook messenger or imessage please πŸ™‚ I can use other poeple phones to record and airdrop videos to reply πŸ™‚

I will talk to you and update again soon!

Big hugs and lots of love!!
