This month my team is partnered with an organization called Africa 4 Jesus, but currently they are a partnered with another organization called Come Foundation. My team is settling in nicely, getting to know our new team, and taking in the culture of Livingstone, Zambia. We live on the outskirts of Livingstone (the tourist capital of Zambia due to Victoria Falls) in a cute yellow home. We share our home with our hosts, that have quickly become family. Our primary ministry focus is evangelizing the community with live, along with Bible studies and a weekly kid’s program. Here’s a look into our weeks here in Zambia!

Monday – Mondays are our free day that we use to go into town for groceries, wifi, etc. Just a day to spend time together as a team and rest.

Tuesday – Breakfast, devotions, door-to-door evangelism, lunch, door-to-door evangelism, dinner. Post dinner, we have Overflow team time and spending time with our whole ministry team.

Wednesday – Breakfast, devotions, house clean-up, lunch, women’s Bible study in another community, dinner, team time.

Thursday – Breakfast, devotions, door-to-door evangelism, lunch, door-to-door evangelism, dinner. Post dinner, we have Overflow team time and spending time with our whole ministry team.

Friday – Friday is my Sabbath day. It will probably look different each week, but it’s a day of rest and growing closer to the Father.

Saturday – Breakfast, devotions, community outreach to recruit kids for our kid’s program, lunch, kid’s program at our house, dinner, team time.

Sunday – Breakfast, church at Kingdom Impact Ministries, lunch, base clean-up, dinner, and rest.

I’m not going to lie, the start of our month here in Zambia was a HARD transition for me. Having to leave Zimbabwe broke my heart because of the friendships I formed with our Youth For Christ team there. However, the Father has given me so much grace as I’ve settled in here. Our team is incredible, and I know it will be a great month here in Livingstone. 🙂

Thank you for reading this blog!

Much love, AC 🙂
