Hi! Welcome to my first World Race blog! So stoked to share this amazing journey with you! Well, if you don’t know me let me introduce myself:) My name is Ashton, (people call me Ash) I’m 19 and I work at a juice/smoothie bar (crazy fun) I dig the outdoors, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking all that outdoorsy stuff. I’m all for smoothies, juices and yummy fruity things. I’m a dreadhead and started growing my locks this year. I have 5 super cool siblings, and amazing, supportive parents along side me.
Gods been doing B I G stuff these past years let me tell ya! I can’t wait to grow throughout this trip but also thought the process of fundraising and preparing myself physically and mentally before the trip. Next year- 2019 I’ll be spreading the good news for 9 solid months being the hands and feet of Jesus. I heard about the World Race two years ago and knew it was something I had to do and God was calling my name for this mission, something bigger than a 2 week, or month mission. But a 9 month mission to get me out of my comfort zone (which is totally my vibe). When I saw India as a country on the route I WAS HOOKED! I knew God was not just calling my name but screaming it!! Soooo friends & fam…I NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Over the course of t 9 months I’ll be traveling to Guatemala, India and Thailand! I’ll be living out of a backpack for those treacherous months, living my best life to the fullest!
