Hi friends! Merry Christmas!
I hope your day has been full of joy & celebration, thankfulness for the love of our Savior, quality time with those most dear, good coffee, fuzzy blankets and Josh Garrels’ Christmas Album (The Light Came Down- seriously, it’s the very best and has been on repeat all day in the Harris household).
I’m sure a lot of you have seen/ read this passage today, but I wanted to share it – the beauty these words & imagining the scene in my mind, brought me to tears this morning! Let us join with the angels & rejoice, rejoice, rejoice!!!
“And the angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.’ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
‘Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!’ ”
-Luke 2:10-14

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
John 3:16-17
