Hey guys I’m really sorry I haven’t been updating you guys very well but from here on out I am going to try and do better. But anyways I have been in Thailand for about a month now. I have been working at Agape Home, which is an orphanage for infants to the age of 20 with AIDS and HIV. When we get there in the morning we start off doing some sort of labor work around the property whether that be mowing the lawn, cutting hedges, sanding chairs and tables, or painting a soon to be clinic for the kids there. During our time doing this work my team and I have really gotten to have some great conversations with each other by either telling their favorite memory or ministering what the Lord taught them this morning. This hard work is also a great way for us to interact with some of the staff and local thai people that work there. Then one of the best times of the day come LUNCH. Everyday Nid makes us lunch and it’s always so good. After that we usually go and work until the kids wake up from their nap around 2:30. Then we get to play and love on the kids as well as get to know and love the nannies. I will be working at Agape for the rest of our time in Thailand.
I have been having a great time in Thailand learning the culture, the language, getting to know the people, exploring Chiang Mai, and being able to serve everyone here. I have been learning so much and another blog about all that is coming soon. 🙂
God Bless
