Happy New Year friends!
I don’t know about you, but 2018 was a huge year of growth for me. In 2018 I walked through intense grief and there were some really hard days. But also in 2018, I experienced joy like never before. I was filled with hope that no matter what I was walking through, I was never walking alone and I am confident there is a plan for my life that is greater than I can even begin to imagine. 2018 made me a stronger person but it also taught me the beauty in admitting my weaknesses. It was a year that changed me in so many ways and I am so excited for what 2019 holds!
In 2019, I want to live a life that recklessly pursues the Lord. I want to be bold, to love people better, and be present in every moment. In preparing for the race, it’s so easy to focus on what I’ll be doing next year at this time that I forget the importance of what I’m doing right now. Whether I’m in Pennsylvania, Swaziland, Thailand, Nicaragua, or anywhere else, I want to be all there. Jesus doesn’t put us anywhere by accident and I want to look for opportunities to glorify him wherever I am.
