“There is purpose in the learning, and not everything in life comes naturally.”

“There’s nothing that can stop us; we’re on our way!” – Steffany Gretzinger

2 months and 3 countries into the race, and we are going through team changes. Leadership presented this to us two weeks ago, and immediately after the news I felt good, but then I started to cry and got really sad, and then I got a little mad. I absolutely love my team. We have all grown so close in trust, in love, and we feel like a family; they are my sisters! I didn’t have peace right away, because I wanted to understand for myself why this was happening so soon. I felt prompted that the Holy Spirit was guiding leadership to make this decision so soon, because He wants us to grow into a deeper relationship with Him, and with other squad mates! I took it as a compliment; that he cares so much about us, that he wants to take us out of a comfortable state, and move us into something not so comfy to help us grow more. I never heard of team changes happening this quickly, but I trust my leadership, and I trust the Lord even more!

With our new team in play, we have not come with a name yet, because a name is prophetic, and we all want to agree on one that the Lord has for us. But, with team changes comes team roles! I will still remain 1/3 worship coordinators for our squad, and I have been presented with 1/2 beauty for ashes coordinator! Beauty for ashes is specifically for women all together, or for men. I’m still getting my feet wet in the role, so I don’t know a lot, but I’m excited to be picking up a new role!

My team includes Alivya, Kaitie, Brianna, and Megan! Kaitie and Bri were my first friends at training camp, and we never thought we’d be on a team together, but dreamed about it happening one day, and that day has come! The Lord has spoken to Megan and I separately on being on a team together. At training camp, her and I, Kaitie and my last teammate Joanna had such a God moment with Megan, and it really brought us all closer together. I believe God was giving a glimpse then of what our team now would look like.

I’m super excited for this team. He had already spoken the word flourish, which means luxurious, over our team, and Kaitie got visions of newness, and green, like a budding plant.
