Meet Tabitha
The most godly woman I have ever met. She loves so well, she has child like faith, and she invests in everyone around her.
This is the second blog we are writing for our teammates and tabs and I happened to get each other. I did not know her well at the beginning of the race but it has been nice having such a ball of light of my newest team. It has been amazing watching her grow in her relationship with God, with others, and watching her become more vulnerable on the team.
One thing I really enjoy about tabs is her willingness to do anything. She may not be a huge fan of one type of ministry or maybe she hasn’t tried it before but you truly would never know because she gives it her all each time. I remember specific moments even in Africa where tabs looked like Jesus: when she connected with the orphans in Wamba, Kenya, when she spent time in sewing classes with the girls in Rwanda, or even would play games or let everyone try new hairstyles on her in Uganda. She would do anything to make other people smile.
You don’t come across people like Tabitha often so make sure you take the time to get to know her and learn from her. It has been so fun having her on my final team and I look forward to growing more with her during our final week as team members.
