hola! my name is kori and I’m one of sophie’s teammates.
I’m here to tell you a little bit about sophie.
sophie is hilarious. there is never a day where she doesn’t make me laugh, sometimes crying laughing on the floor. she knows how to take a less than great situation and turn it into a moment full of laughter and jokes. if I’m ever sad she knows exactly what to say to me to make me feel better.
sophie is also incredible kind. she is generous, self aware, and really sweet to all. at ministry, she is so kind to the special needs kids and adults we work with. she is intentional with all of them, and so patient. she never complains about having to do gross stuff or about how one kid wouldn’t do x, y, or z. she truly gives all her heart.
sophie is also super eager to grow. she has grown so much that I’ve seen since being here, and I know how excited she is for peru (only 5 more days!!!). she loves the lord and it so shows in her eagerness to grow deeper into the word.
sophie, I love you a ton. thanks so much for everything you do and how much of your heart you pour out. I can’t wait to see how the lord uses you this up coming month!!
