So funny story… I’ve had trouble breathing because of the altitude so I thought it would be a good idea to go to the clinic. I explained to the doctor my symptoms and he asked me if I was stressed. I replied with, “well yes, aren’t we all a little stressed?” I’m in a foreign country and don’t know what anyone is saying to me. Sure, I’m kind of stressed. So, naturally he diagnoses me with anxiety. I was like ummmm I’m not sure that’s right dude. I live in the low country and this problem started when I got here. It’s clearly the altitude. I think an inhaler is a much better solution to this problem. His response was, “No. Anxiety. You take medicine. Feel much better.” Hard to argue with that so I just went with it. He gave me 5 days worth of Lyrica which, if I can remember correctly, is one of those medicines on the commercials listing millions of side effects while the dad and son are playing a game of catch in the background and ends with “may cause suicidal thoughts or death”. I could be wrong but the whole thing just seems a little sketchy to me. However, I also payed like $35 for the pills so might as well take them. Wish me luck. I hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry this post probably was not what you were expecting but hey, things happen and I just thought it was funny. Ciao amigos!
p.s. I got a tattoo down my spine and it looks dopeeeee (don’t worry my family members have been informed)
