We have been here in Guatemala for about 3 weeks now and life here is very different from life in Peru, but it is so good!

Our ministry is similar in the sense that it is a lot different things. On Mondays we spend the day a senior home, hanging out with them, doing exercises, games, and activities. It is so much fun and the people there are the most kind and and loving. They are sweet to us but also love to roast us which is so funny and one of my favorite things. Then on Tuesdays we go into town to do something we call “ATL” which stands for ask the Lord. During ATL we spend time in prayer to listen to what God is speaking to us and where he is leading. “ATL” is so cool and has led to some amazing experiences and has allowed us to meet the most incredible people, hear their stories, pray for them, and form relationships with them. Then Tuesday afternoons we go to different villages in the area and do makeup ministry, where we get to do women’s makeup, paint their nails, and do there hair, as an outreach program and have fun while sharing the gospel and loving on the women! Wednesday is our busy day. In the mornings we have ATL in a near by village, which usually includes playing and losing in soccer games against the kids. After ATL we team up with some women from the Church we help out at and hand out flyer invitations to the Wednesday night church service. Then after dinner we head over to the night service to teach the kids “Sunday school” class, and usually eat real good Guatemalan food after). Thursday is activation day. Which means in the morning the staff has a lesson or two for us and we spend the morning learning and listening. Then we go out and practice what we just learned! After activation we will also be teaching an English class starting in January. On Fridays we spend the morning in the village teaching the kids there an English class, then in the afternoon we do ATL.

In addition to this schedule we also help serve breakfast at a program at the church Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

I look forward to all I will gain and learn from these new ministries. Thank you for the continued prayers and support!
