Thinking about this bio page reminds me of a sand pendulum that acted as decoration in homes back in the day. Remember those? The pendulum would barely graze the surface on a flat plane of sand. I always wanted to add more force so I could drag the needle through the sand, rather than see it barrrrrely skim. You could make any kind of cool, crazy or simple design your heart desired.
This is just the grazed surface of who I am and Lord willing as I continue to post blogs leading up to my launch date and while on the field in different countries, you can in a way, unhook the pendulum needle and drag it through the sand of who I am and the orchestrator of it all.
Soo.. hi! My name is Sara, my demeanor is soft and welcoming, I love people, most people I meet call me “sweet Sara,” I smile when I talk, my strongest spiritual gift is faith and I’m in awe to know my name is known.
I grew up in Hoover AL, and went to Auburn University where I graduated in 2014 with a degree in Apparel Design. I went to school not knowing what I wanted to do, went through about 4 majors, and fell upon design. The openness of freedom and creativity felt like I was home there.
Since graduating college, I have walked the path of “What’s next?” The steps can be challanging, finding what you want to do and not necessarily knowing what “it” is. The Lord has led me, and for the past 2 years I have been blessed more than I deserve working at a little online/ store boutique that is making an impact for the nations. I’m a part of the creative/ social/ display/ marketing/ and customer care team. It’s been sweet, but I’ve also felt the Lord calling me to more. Calling me to trust. Calling me to see. Calling me to Him, and it just so happens that the World Race is the avenue He wants to take me on.
