For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Sarah Zlibut and I am 23 years old. In May of last year, I graduated from Lee University with my Bachelor’s in Music, piano emphasis and Bachelor’s in Business Administration, accounting emphasis. Upon graduation, I started searching for a job in the accounting field and by God’s provision I started working at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. as a staff accountant in July of 2017. This past year has been a time of uncertainty for me. I definitely thought by this time in my life, I would have a better idea of where my life was headed – whether that be continuing to further my accounting education, going to get my master’s in music, or being involved in Church Music ministry, etc.. Nonetheless, I continued to put my faith and trust in God that He would take care of me and lead me to where He wants me to be.

Past.

For a short season while at Lee, I was given the opportunity to go to China with the Lee University Symphonic band to work with band students at Sias University. A couple of years later, I had the privilege to travel with the Ladies of Lee to Goa, India, and be involved with the ministry called Rahab’s Rope, visit families in their homes, and teach children songs and Bible stories. In 2017, I went to Romania and visited various orphanages across the country, teaching sing-a-longs and spending time with the children.

Present.

My heart and soul have always known that ministry in this manner would somehow be a part of my life; I had the what, I just didn’t have the how. Since my first day at my normal, 40 hours-a-week job I felt the urgency of the need to fulfill my soul’s deepest desire: to seek God with all of my heart and to make disciples of all nations. After much prayer and consideration, with a heart to make Jesus known in all the Earth, I believe God is leading me to join the World Race for 2019.

The World Race is an 11 month trip to 11 different countries around the world. More so, this is a mission trip designed to be an intensive discipleship program training my generation in making disciples of all nations and impacting God’s kingdom. The countries that we will be going to are: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, and Ukraine. Throughout the time on the World Race, my team and I will serve in multiple capacities; including ministering to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, partnering with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, and bringing the restorative Hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.

The Gospel comes with sacrifice and cost. One of the challenges I will be facing on this journey is raising $18,200. This amount will cover my 11-month journey of serving others. As I have taken this next step prayerfully, would you too, consider taking the step to cover me in financial provision? Whether you are able to bless me monthly or with just a one-time offer – any amount is helpful and I thank you in advance.

Above all, prayer is necessary. Whether or not you have the ability to give, I ask that you pray for my squad and I as we are preparing to head into the mission field to spread the Good News of Hope.
