I heard this saying one time and it stuck with me for years. The saying was a perfect description as to how I lived my life. it said,

“I don’t know where I am going, but I am on my way”

You see, I never really had an idea of where I was going or what I was doing, but I never wanted to miss an opportunity, so I always did it…. whatever it was.

You want proof, here it is:

I went to Mississippi State my freshman year of college and to this day, I cannot give you a reason of why I decided to go. I just had the opportunity, so I went. I quickly came to the realization that I was not supposed to be there, and I hated every second of it.

so I came home (because why not).

My sophomore year of college I went to the University of Memphis. I still had no idea where I was going or what I was doing, but hey at least I was back in the 901. The first semester, I just finished up my basics, and then second semester hit… and it hit hard. I was time for me to pick a major, and I had no idea what to pick, so I just went with teaching (again, because why not), and I learned very quickly that I did not make the right choice.

But with The World Race…

-I still have no idea what I am doing, but I know for a fact that this is what Jesus is wanting me to do.

It’s the coolest feeling in the world, not knowing what is going to happen, but having so much peace because you know it’s exactly where Jesus needs you.

For the first time I can say,

“I finally know where I am going, and I am on my way”
