Hey world, I just got back from training camp for The World Race and W O W, what an incredible experience. I learned so much and I met the greatest people in the world. It was also at training camp where I was told that I needed to write a blog about how I chose my route (thank you Victoria).

So, as you know, I am going to Cambodia, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica, and fun fact: I have no special connections to these countries, so I CANNOT WAIT to see what Jesus has in store for me on this route.

When I first got accepted to go on The World Race, it was very hard for me to pick a route and I honestly refused to do it. I didn’t care where I went, I just wanted to go where Jesus needed me. When I first looked at the routes, routes 6, 2, 3, and 5 were still available, and route 3 (the route that I am on now) caught my attention the most. I made the mistake of reading all of them and I ended up falling in love with all of them, so then I really couldn’t choose. I prayed like crazy that Jesus would lead me to the right route because I was so indecisive. I had friends tell me to just go to random people and ask them to choose a number and I ended up taking their advice LOL.

I work at a daycare, and I work with pre schoolers and one afternoon, I walked in and I asked the kids to raise their hands on a number that I shouted.

(((at this point, route 6, 2, and 3 were still available, so I changed the 6 to a 1 to make it easier for the kids)))

I said to the kids, “RAISE YOUR HAND FOR NUMBER 1” and 2 kids raised their hands

Then I said, “RAISE YOUR HAND FOR NUMBER 2” and no one raised their hand

Lastly, I said “RAISE YOUR HAND FOR NUMBER 3” and every single kid in the classroom raised their hand

the kids had no idea what was going on, but Jesus knew, and he spoke to me through them and it was the coolest thing.

I seriously have no idea why Jesus chose this route for me, but I am so so so excited to go and find out ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

–another fun fact: this was a fun little story to share with everyone at training camp, so here you go world, hope you find it fun too–
