Coming up on our last week in India I’m starting to realize how much I’m actually going to miss this place. I’m going to miss the relationships that I have built, the local stores we have made “our spot”, the local bakery ( Oh the bakery!!!), the ministry opportunities that we have had over the past few months.
I have been a teacher for a day, a jungle gym, hands to help move bricks, a testament of how God an change someone’s life, and countless characters in the Bible when we act out stories. India was nothing like what I was expecting. We are in a primarily Christian area so there wasn’t much going out to evangelize. But at the same time coming from a really rough month for me personally on the race having this community here while having the squad was amazing. The culture here has really changed my view on servanthood. People here will do anything to help out you when you are in need and they are some of the most welcoming people I have ever met.
It reminds me of the verse in Philippians chapter 2 verse 14-15 “do everything without grumbling or arguing so you may become blameless and pure “children of God without fault in a warped crooked generation””.
