This week has been pretty wild to say the least. We are living in Kathmandu, Nepal and have been living and doing day to day things with four of the other teams, instead of like in Swaziland where we lived all together.
We were able to visit an orphanage today and it was amazing to just see the joy on the children’s faces when they saw us. All they wanted to do was play and sing with us. We were only able to stay there for a few hours, but it was an incredible time being there with them.
The past few days I have also felt very Swazi-sick. I miss the people, the kids, the atmosphere, our care point, and even the heat. It really sunk in when one of my teammates showed their video of Swaziland. It was almost heartbreaking. I definitely left a piece of my heart there.
Also, almost every single person staying in this part of Nepal on the squad got sick. I was throwing up and having intense bowl movements for about 24 hours, which seemed to be a common theme between us. It was not a fun time. But the Lord brought us through and for the most part we are all good, or almost there.
