Our work has looked a little different this past week. We (being the guys team) were able to go with another team to their care point to help build a playground there. This playground was donated by the mother of a former racers parent. Her daughter was did the race last year and she came to Swaziland during her race. But once she got back from the race last year she was shot at work and she died from her injuries. So her mom started to get donations to continue the work that she started.
So, with the help of the Swazi construction workers that work on the compound, the playground was put up in a week. Even though the Swazi workers did most of it and we mostly got in the way but it was amazing experience to be a part of that.
Even the conversations not only the other team but with the workers and the other kids. It was incredible to see what the other teams get to do. It was a incrediblly humbling experience .
