WOW! I mean what else can I say. The past few weeks have been indescribable with getting accepted into the gap year program. With trying to figure out how I will be able to raise the full $15,800, planning what I will need for the trip, how I will get to training camp, and just the excitement of getting to go and spread the word of God and help people around the world. I don’t think its really sunk in yet that I will be gone for nine months. I just wanted to let y’all know what I will be doing during this trip. I will be going to Swaziland, India, Nepal, and Guatemala. In these countries I will be helping local ministries to preach about God. I will also help local start up churches get on their feet. My team and I will also help to teach English. We will also do the things that are typically associated with these trips such as joining the local worship and really living how they live by living out of a backpack and sleeping in tents. We will also be working with human trafficking victims, orphans, and people who have lost everything. Training camp for this trip will be July 10-20th in Atlanta. I leave for the trip on either September eighth or the ninth depending on the country I will be going to first. I am so excited to share more of this trip with you as I experience it.
