Hey everyone!
I am now 3 weeks away from LAUNCH! Can you believe how fast time flew? On January 8th we will leave The States from San Francisco to our first country: Cambodia. I have officially entered PREPARATION mode and honestly, it’s everything that’s on my mind. Better said my emotions are all over the place. I’m getting ready to leave my family, buying all the gear needed and feeding myself spiritually as I leave my comfortable lifestyle behind.
November was a really hard month. I survived a car accident on my way to work. That complicated many things but thankfully God always comes through. He has blessed me with an amazing boss and job that understands my situation. He has also given me the most incredible best friends in the world who take me everywhere I need to go. The insurance is playing games on paying out the car but as soon as they do I will pay what I still owe and put the rest towards my world race. Thank you to everyone who has been with me during this entire season. Your words of encouragement, prayers, and love are what keeps me going. Thank you for believing in me and for supporting me. I think about all of you every day.
Last Sunday was my last Sunday serving on the Touch Team at Passion. Serving and leading for the past 5 years has radically changed who I am as a person. I have learned so much from my pastors, leaders, points, and my family groups. Helping launch our Cumberland location was exactly where God wanted me and I am confident that when I come back people won’t fit at our Cumberland location. Our team is doing a phenomenal job week in and week out. Here is a picture of my family group (many missing) after they prayed protection over me. Thank you for always standing by my side.
This past Sunday my Love Is A Verb community also prayed over me during our December Inspire Night. We gather once a month to fill ourselves up with community, prayer, and worship so we can go out and serve our city. We partner with non-profits who allow us to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I have served with this community since 2014 and since then my heart has grown so much for loving people. Jared & Tasha Faellaci our leaders and my mentors have been a blessing to all of us by opening up their home and guiding us to desire more of Jesus.
Now to the fun part… or maybe not so fun but very needed. My next deadline is next week! By December 21st I need to have $10,000 raised and I am almost there! Will I make it? Well, one thing I know for sure is God never fails. Holding strong to Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” He has brought me this far then He will bring me through it.
