Hello,

First off… Thank you so much for your interest and for visiting my blog. My name is Ronny Sison and I am 25 years old. I was born in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, California.

I grew up Catholic but I hardly ever remember practicing it. When I was 8 years old we moved to Atlanta where my mom found Jesus. Growing up in a Pentecostal church really opened up my eyes on how worship should look like. Worship never had a time limit. It was never forced. The Spirit always led every moment and the expressions were spontaneous. At that age, I would just sit on the bench and observe the adults every service not fully understanding the reason behind their worship. Years later when I turned 17 at a Youth Camp is where I truly experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. I had a supernatural experience that brought security, peace and gratefulness. From that day I knew the Jesus I have heard for years was real. I understood He had a purpose for my life and I felt safe. A fire was lit in my heart.

When I turned 18 I graduated high school, got a job, moved into my own place and bought a car. In the lockers of my job a co-worker approached me and invited me to visit his church in downtown. I was already going to a church but I had been praying for Gods guidance on where He wanted to root me. As I entered the doors of Passion City Church and saw the door holders greet me as if they knew me I felt belonged. During the worship, I felt connected and with the message, I felt desire. A desire for more. I then decided to make Passion City Church my home and began to serve on the Touch Team. I gained community but there was still an urge for more in my heart.

One Sunday the Touch Team gathered to pray over a future World Racer. I had no idea what The World Race was but as I did my research I knew that was what God kept telling me. He kept preparing me for missions and so I prayed. I asked Him to confirm that was His plan for my life. In 2015 at a Housefires Worship Night during a spontaneous moment, a guy touched me and asked me if he could pray for me. I told him yes and as he prayed he began to speak in tounges and he translated “Go and declare my glory among the nations and to all people.” I knew that was His confirmation and so I decided to finish college because I knew I needed to. My parents came to this country with the American dream and part of that dream was to see me walk with my college diploma and I did it! I am proud to be a Kennesaw State University class of 2018 graduate with my Bachelor of Science in Communication and my Certificate in Leadership Studies.

Now we are here. I still have the same job and my parents live with my sister and I because they are getting old. To me family is everything but they understand that when God calls you… you must GO. They fully support missions and are proud that I will be launching in January 2019. The hardest part of this next season of my life is fundraising but I know that if God called me He will provide. I have faith and that is where I stand now.

If you read all this, THANK YOU! THANK YOU for believing in me and for supporting me. Please add me and my family to your prayer list. If you want to grab coffee or dinner let me know I would also love to hear your story.

MUCH LOVE,

Ronny Sison
